Activities

We are an association of authorized private nurseries in Kobe City.  We work closely with parents to provide the best nurture and to build optimum happiness for the children of the 21st century. We were organized in 1961 and authorized as a corporation in 1995.

The following activities are designed to fulfill our goal of improving your children's welfare:

1.Help spread understanding and education of infant and toddler care for community and parents:

• Telephone guidance clinic for child rearing.
• Children's guidance clinic with outdoor child care and activities
• Course in Child Development
• Handicapped children seminar.
• Diet Fair.
• Child rearing support meetings.
• The magazine "Yuu-shoh" published periodically.
• Constantly increasing the quality and talent of child care professionals
• Cooking Seminar for Parents and Children
• Build Regional awareness with communication about all aspects of child care, including   temporary child care, and special-needs child care.

2. Ongoing Education and progress for our Nursery Staff,

• Conduct all necessary nursery staff training courses.
• Sponsor training courses with the Citizen Welfare University.
• Theme commission activities of All Nursery  Association or All Private Nursery Association.

3.Undertaking the investigation or research regarding nursery projects.

• Gathering the child care information from related investigation or research organs or systems.
• Investigation or research for the "result of auditing", "betterment the treatment", "actual conditions among the child care", "expenses for the child care" and  any other kinds of child care projects.
• Investigation or research for the actual conditions of child care at another countries.

4.Other undertaking for achievement of our purpose.

• Publish the "Kobe Private Nursery Federation News Letter".
• Connection and adjustment between City of Kobe, City Corporate juridical persons' Association, Hyogo prefectural Corporate juridical persons' Association,  All Nursery   Association or All Private Nursery Association.

5. Undertaking for connection and adjustment regarding nursery projects.

• Support the activity of related organizations (Futaba-kai, J.C., Echo hoiku-pia and any other associations).
• Any other necessary projects.

What is the nursery like?

Nursery is the facilities for take care the children who can not get child care in day time by some reasons (example, because both father and mother working or sick) in behalf of the parents.

Today community people are possible to use the nursery at any case with any kinds of systems such like "emergency temporary child care", "Regional communication with child care", "Child rearing guidance clinic" or "Open playground to the public".

How to enter to a nursery?

When parents been to the impossible to take care for the child with the reason below, then nursery can take care to the child who between after 6 month old and just before admission to a elementary school.

1. Guardian are working at out of the home.
2. Guardian are working except housework at inside of the home.
3. Mother is just before the childbirth.
4. Guardian has been "sick", "injury" or "mentally or physically handicapped".
5. Guardian taking care for the lodger who "sick" or "mentally or physically handicapped"
6. Guardian been to the task under or after re-construction the disaster such like earthquake, typhoon, flood or fire.
7. Taking care the child at single guardian family.

Application are accepting any time. Would you please ask to the charge of application below.

How about a period of time?

Between weekday's 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. as a standard child care time at principle. Close Sunday and National Holidays.
In the time above, nursery take care the children when only guardian can not take care of them.
If the guardians can not take a child to and from the nursery, guardians can use the special child care system or extension child care system by nursery's approval.

The nurseries has three types of child care time table below.

Charges?

The Nursery's fee has definite depend on value of income tax at fiscal preceding year. Would you please ask to the welfare bureau. At the authorized nurseries, both private or public requires same value of fee.
At the extension child care, required the additional extension child care fee.

Guidance Clinic by phone

Every week Monday through Friday, between 12:00 noon and 16:00 p.m..
Experienced principals or chief childcare staff taking the counsel to the people regarding child care by phone.
Any specialist's advises are available when necessary.
